Thanks! I'm happy with how everything came out, even with the technical snags. I plan to wear them to another con in about 6 months, with any luck, so there's always time for tweaking.
I just went to one photoshoot; the individual ones were just us killing time against blank walls. It was OK, not very well attended (~12-15 people) and had a little bit of creative matching-up, followed by a couple of people hogging the spotlight. (Jay and I and another Spike cosplayer had a cute moment; I'll have to see whether anyone posts those.)
OTOH, this is only the second photoshoot I've attended. I'm not sure how they usually go. It's fun, though.
Anyway, it was still a nice time. I wouldn't go so far as to say "fun", as I fell asleep in daylight hours at least twice - and not because of partying too hard the night before. :) Just walk around, look for neat costumes, buy things in the Alley (and a few in Dealers'), and a couple of panels/events. Super low key.
