Flashback time?

dotsandlinesA few days ago, I wiped out every email in my old Yahoo account, which I used from circa 2003-2007. ...I'm not sure why I did that. I'd had to log into it to confirm something from Amazon, and just... started.
Huh.
[Edit, a few days later: Not quite all. I thought I'd gotten all of them, but I'd missed a few - including some...interesting choices. Like the confirmation email for our first Artist's Alley.]

A couple of weeks ago, the host of the weekly craft group that I usually impose upon (breath) was watching Fruits Basket via Netflix. It was one of those series that it seemed everyone had seen, and thus probably worth catching up on. (Wow, my grammar is shot today.)
I went home and re-read the whole manga. Gaaaaaah. So sweet. So obsessed with pairing off characters by the last page that some of the pairings make less than no sense. Ayame's and Shishou's get on my nerves particularly. Still, after all these years.
AYAME + MINE. REALLY. Really now. Really? Truly. And this from someone who still thinks it would be fun to cosplay Mine sometime.* Just...no. Ayame + Ayame = OTP. Let's be honest.
Shishou/Kazuma + Hana. I heart Hana, OK? She is adorably cracked. And I am biased. But especially on second read... that assistant of his. Cultural differences aside, really now.
Everything else is adorable to some extent or another.
Moving on.
- Every curse-breaking moment still gets me.
- Momiji is so badass in the manga. Tohru wishes she were Momiji, because he is perceptive and empathetic without being a complete self-sacrificing doormat. Granted, he can be manipulative and hide what he's actually thinking. Still, it's a step.
* It would be fun to cosplay as Mine or as Ritsu's mom. Ritsu's mom would be hilarious, and I am the right age for that one, but nobody would recognize it. Don't care. Still funny. Cathartic? I'M SORRYYYYYYYYY!!!!!
I haven't been reading much new manga, this past year. Kinda fell behind on the series that I'd been reading. So... maybe I'll catch up (and continue to abandon Bleach) and keep an eye out for something new.
